Kapunda High School (fire reinstatement) – major upgrades is undergoing a $23.18m facility upgrade.
Key features of the upgrade include:
Kapunda High School is receiving a facility restoration after the devastating fire in 2022 that caused damage to several buildings, including the heritage listed Eringa building once owned by Sir Sidney Kidman.
Key features of the upgrade include:
- The restoration of Eringa in accordance with Heritage SA requirements, with the addition of accessibility provisions, an expanded staff area and staff toilet block consolidation.
- Another building which was also destroyed by the fire is to be replaced.
The upgrade will provide students with world-leading facilities.
