Learning+ is a new online mathematics tutoring initiative being piloted by the ºÚÁϳԹÏn Department for Education to accelerate student learning of the mathematics curriculum. Qualified teachers receive training, resources, and professional support to build their knowledge and skills to tutor students in the Australian Mathematics Curriculum. Students receive two 30-minute one-on-one tutoring sessions per week for 10 weeks, via an online platform, tailored to their individual learning needs.
The program is being piloted with year 6 and 8 students in ºÚÁϳԹÏn government schools. Through Social Ventures Australia, the ºÚÁϳԹÏn Department for Education has contracted the to conduct an independent evaluation of the Learning+ pilot initiative.
